Awana

OUR AWANA PROGRAM RESUMES SEPTEMBER 11TH

Awana (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered children's organization providing clubs and programs for three year olds through 6th graders. We meet on Sunday evenings, 5:45 - 7:15p.m., in the fellowship hall. Each week boys and girls learn Bible verses, have Bible stories and play Awana games.

What can you do to support your children in Awana?

1.     Bring them to the weekly Awana meetings.

2.     Help them with weekly Bible memorization.

3.     Encourage them to finish their handbook.

4.     Praise them for their accomplishments.

Weekly Awana clubs feature three segments: Game Time, Handbook Time and Council Time. During Game Time, boys and girls play games on the unique Awana Game Square. In Handbook Time, children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities based on their work. The final segment, Council Time, consists of Bible Stories and lessons based on Christian principles.
