Challenge to Build Program

WHERE ARE WE HEADED:

 

Our Challenge to Build Program will fund the expansion to provide needed additional space for educational, recreational and fellowship facilities for all ages as well as resources to reach others for Christ.  The planned new multi-purpose building will provide for additional classrooms, areas for large church gatherings and gymnasium areas for athletic activities.  Challenge to Build is a planned three year commitment to raise approximately $ 3 million.  King David said that he would not offer to the LORD that which had cost him nothing.  As we offer this new facility to the LORD, it will cost, but it is our offering to the LORD.  Challenge to Build calls for commitment, generosity and sacrifices by all members.  Our commitments must be over and above our normal tithes and offerings which will enable us to continue our current work.  

No one will be told what to give nor be pressured to give since we believe that all share in sacrificial giving.

 

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO:

 

Pray that God will guide you in determining what gift you will make.  No one will be pressured or asked for a specific amount.  Even though the size of each one’s gift may vary, we can all make sacrifices and commitments as God has caused us to prosper.  When we do that, God is honored, we are blessed and His work gets done. 

A Commitment Card will be provided to specify the amount you plan to give over the next three years .  Please review the suggested Guidelines for Giving and seek God's direction before filling out the card and in turning it in.
